Why do we need to know this?As a high schooler, you have something even Bill Gates doesn't, time. Have the knowledge now and you can use the 70+ years left in your life to get ahead of everyone else. Because even if you work hard and have a hundred, a thousand, or ten thousand dollars saved up, that alone won't make you rich. One day that money will be used to pay expenses and it will be GONE no matter how hard you work. Instead, in order to join the richest Americans in the top 10%, you must do what they do. The richest people use money to make money. They own the houses you live, the companies making the products you pay into, and the loans you take out. SBL teaches financial literacy because the sooner you start learning how to use money to make money, the sooner you will join the top 10% of richest Americans. The only question is how much time will you waste before you start learning how to do it.
